It was wonderful to see Ray's daughter accept a posthumous Outstanding Achievement Award at the inaugural GreenLiving ECR awards last night. Her acceptance speech was heartfelt and I like the reading of the Poem "Tomorrow's Child" at the end. Later in the evening it was recommended by another presenter that Ray Anderson become the new normal for all CEOs to follow.
Ray Anderson will be awarded a posthumous Outstanding Achievement award during the Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Awards taking place in Toronto on October 26, 2011
I was so fortunate to have met Dr. Maathai when we filmed this segment. She was warm and full of good humour. She was on a speaking tour of universities to encourage young people to get involved. She was a trailblazer who suffered to bring change but never forgetting the joy life could bring. A true GreenHero. Read and share condolences at http://wangari.greenbeltmovement.org/
Quite simply an inspiration. Here's a detailed case study we did on Interface, hope you find it useful: http://api.ning.com/files/pZ3lvvSdJIoJOaydknV18uY2VSYGDdT4CfYtVbawRN6dJ5g2TodFjQPL2azSCLcJ-vjSdcDeCycQU12oaMi0UL-G9iVFJcN4/InterfaceFLOR.pdf

It was an honour and pleasure for me to meet a true groundbreaker. He inspired many and I hope the video we made contributes to his legacy.
