Energizer Shines with the Development of a Solar Powered Flashlight
“We believe that everyone has the power to make a positive impact on the world around them,” says Kent Hatton, Brand Group Director, Energizer Canada Inc. “Energizer does it through the products we make and the programs we support, where performance and responsibility are paramount. Today’s consumers are looking for that balance between performance and responsibility that Energizer delivers." The GreenHeroes street team was on hand to learn about a new solar powered flash light that recharges during the day so that there is extra power to use at night. Energizer Canada also announced a $100,000 donation to Evergreen and a national campaign to support Evergreen in its efforts to drive energy conservation and create and sustain green spaces across Canada.

Emily hunter officially launched her book The Next Eco Warriors on May 6th, 2011 with a book launch party at Revival in Toronto Ontario. Eco Warriors featured in her book came out and spoke about their efforts to make change and shared inspiring stories. The night ended with a book signing and good times with good people. Grand Opening of Marilyn's Salon

On Sept 19, 2010, the GreenHeroes Street Team joined Shane Price of Green Circle Salons to attend the official grand opening of Marilyn Sepe's Anti Aging Laser Clinic and Wellness Centre at 385 Jane Street in Toronto.
The Clinic and Wellness Centre had recently relocated from the Junction neighbourhood to their newly purchased building in the Baby Point neighbourhood.

The GreenHeroes Street Team caught up with Brent Huffman of the Toronto Zoo who was raising awareness around the Komodo Dragon which is an endangered species. The event also had folks trying to help break a world record for the largest group of people Yo-Yo-ing simultaneously.
